Interested in gaining your CSCS card with a view to progressing into a job or apprenticeship within one of the many trades and career areas construction has to offer? Look no further.
The teams at Vistry Partnerships and Train4all have teamed up to deliver an eight-week Routeway 2 Construction course, which can help you do all of that and more.
On this programme, you can build your health and safety knowledge to then sit (and hopefully pass) your CSCS exam for the Green/Operatives card. In addition to this, those taking part also work towards gaining a Level 1 Health and Safety qualification, a Level 1 NVQ in Employability Skills and an Entry Level qualification in Essential Digital Skills. Gain hands-on skills completing practical work in bricklaying and finishing/rendering, as well as on-site experience with subcontractors - all of whom are always on the lookout for the next person to offer a job or work-based training to.
This programme is available to anyone aged 16+ and delivered from the Linden Homes site in North Prospect, Plymouth. The next course starts on Monday 11 May, but do get in touch before then as the team will be hosting some Information Sessions on the site beforehand.
For more information, speak to a Skills Launchpad Plymouth Coordinator, or contact enquiries@train4all.co.uk.
