Join us for Lifelong Learning Week - Tuesday 7 and Wednesday 8 November

Now more than ever, we need to raise awareness of lifelong learning and the many benefits of adult education - which is great, because next week (Monday 6 to Friday 10 November) is Lifelong Learning Week! Keep reading for information about how Skills Launchpad Plymouth is getting involved.


What can you expect on Tuesday 7 November?

  • Construction Drop-in, 10am to 2pm - come and explore skills, training, education careers and jobs in the sector with Building Plymouth and recruiting employers, Kier BAM and Danny Sullivan Group. All experience levels welcome.

  • Health and Care Drop-in, 10am to 3pm - meet our sector coordinators to discuss different pathways and opportunities into this vital sector.

  • Military Tuesday Centrica takeover, 10am to 3pm - veterans, serving members of HM Armed Forces and their families are invited to come and meet Centrica to find out more about their 'Armed Forces Pathway'

  • Pre-booked careers appointments with a National Careers Service advisor (FULLY BOOKED)


What can you expect on Wednesday 8 November?

  • On Course South West training pop-up, 10am to 2pm - for anyone aged 19+ interested in part-time courses, skills bootcamps and qualifications.

  • Green construction careers pop-up, 10am to 3pm - for anyone age 16+ interested in finding out more about how the construction industry is responding to improve the environmental impact of builds and how you can get involved

  • Health and care drop-in, 10am to 3pm - meet our sector coordinator Jack to discuss different pathways and opportunities into this vital sector.
