ICONIC is a research project led by the University of Plymouth that has been set up to create new technologies in collaboration with people across Cornwall and Devon - and the team is recruiting people aged between 16 and 30 or aged 50+ to join the design workshops!
To take part, you don't need to have any prior knowledge or experience working with technology.
What is virtual reality or VR? It's basically a tool that allows a user to explore an immersive 3D computer generated space on a VR headset, which makes the user feel like they are in a completely new virtual world. VR allows people to explore real-world heritage and environmental sites of natural beauty from their own home, removing many of the barriers to access these sites.
